Less than a month's time, Salesforce is having another major service disruption on June 9, 2021. The different thing is that, this time, the Salesforce team manages to get up to speed and notify their customers promptly.
It seems like they have already found the issue and apply the fix already. It is a DNS issue with the 3rd party DNS provider which probably takes some time to propagate the update, so what we can do now is just sit tight and wait for it to finish propagating.
Let's hope the service can be back to normal soon, before my lunch time break ends.

Seems like the service is back to normal now. Thankfully, it only took about 50 mins to recover.
